Nakita's Farewell

Dear SilenceIsViolence supporters,As most of you know, Nakita Shavers, who works closely with
SilenceIsViolence, will be heading back to Florida A&M University this
weekend. Nakita will continue working with the organization, but we
will miss her presence in our city! If you can, please join us for
this evening's City Walk through Uptown to send her off. We will have
dinner at Franky & Johnnie's Restaurant at the end of the route,
around 7:30pm. Here is the complete route for this evening:
Thursday, Aug 9, 7pm sharp:
START: King Pin Lounge, 1319 Lyons St. at Prytania. Walk toward the
river on Lyons; turn RIGHT on Laurel Street, LEFT on Upperline, and
RIGHT onto Annunciation. Follow Annunciation to Arabella St; turn
LEFT onto Arabella. STOP: Franky and Johnnie's Restaurant, 321
Arabella St. We'll be hanging out for root beer and dinner afterward,
and to wish Nakita bon voyage! Transportation will be provided back
to the King Pin until 9pm.
